Today's antiphon is "O Adonai" - (O Lord of Israel), and is based on Isaiah 11:4-5 and 32:22. It contemplates the Lord as ruler of all, the giver of the law to Moses, and petitions the Lord to 'come' with hand outstretched, ready to forgive and redeem us.Lord, grant that we may always embrace and be faithful to your life giving commandments. May we "delight in your law, and meditate on it day and night". May you truly be the ruler of our lives never let us despair of your mercy when we have gone astray. We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
